[Updating] Books that I read
Today, while sorting the papers, I found a note of the books that I read from April to June 2021. Well, I was a little bit surprised that I didn’t have in mind that I already read all of those.
So I decided to write down a blog post to list the recent book that I read. The idea is to update the liste frequently.
2020
- La semaine où Jérôme Kerviel a failli faire sauter le système financier mondial – Hugues Le Bret (in French) : the story behind the tremendous scandale in the Banking world. It was easy and pretty nice to read.
- Sapiens – Une brève histoire de l’humanité / Sapiens : A brief history of Humankind – Yuval Noah Harari (I read in French): THE book to read, I loved it.
- Maybe some other books, but I can’t tell right now.
2021
- Homo Deus – Une brève histoire de l’avenir / Homo Deus – A brief history of Tomorrow – Yuval Noah Harari (in French) : not as interesting as his first book but still a beautiful writing.
- La désobéissance civile / Civil Disobedience – Henry David Thoreau : it’s very hard to understand.
- Art de la guerre / The Art of War – Sun Tzu (in French) : interesting but I don’t know whether I will recall many things.
- Cicatrice (in French) – Grégoire Gambatto : collection of stories about entrepreneurship / start-up hardship of a young French entrepreneur (that somehow I’m connected to on LinkedIn :D).
- When to rob a bank – Steven D.Levitt and Stephan J.Dubner (in English) : from the authors of Freakonomics, a collection of posts from their blog The Freakopedia.

2022
